xda-developers forums has released a modified firmware for Samsung Wave. This firmware is based off of XXJL2 and is only a demonstration to prove that some tampering can be done, (can be hacked) and hopefully kicks off a movement for more tampering of the bada OS in the near future.
The following changes have been made:
- Removed all stock widgets
- Removed all locked pictures, and sounds
- Removed all JAVA Midlets
- Added 2 apps and 1 video from Chinese firmware
- Palringo is replaced with Social Hub Premium (not fully working yet)
Keep in mind this is released only as a demo and you may only use at your own risk
