Google Android 2.4 may be called as Ice Cream Sandwich. Next Android update is dubbed as Ice Cream and is due for arrival in summer (may be June or July). Google Android updates have always been named after a dessert: C-Cupcake (1.5), D-Donut (1.6), E-Eclair (2.0/2.1), F-Froyo (2.2), G-Gingerbread (2.3) and H-Honeycomb (3.0).
If Google follows this series then next version should named as I-Icecream or Icecream Sandwich(2.4). At CES 2011, Sony Ericsson's Xperia Arc handset was spotted running Android 2.4 update aka Ice Cream. It is very possible that Ice Cream Sandwich (2.4) could bring a heavy amount of Honeycomb features to smartphones. [Source]
