LG introduces Optimus 2X


LG Optimus 2X has been officially introduced. Formerly known as the LG Star, the device will be the first to have a dual-core processor under the hood. In this case, a NVIDIA Tegra 2 will be powering the phone, making it the fastest dual-core smartphone in the world.

The official specs are a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor and a 4 inch WVGA display. On the rear is an 8MP camera with a 1.3MP front-facing camera with 1080p MPEG-4/H.264 video recording and playback, 8GB of native storage expandable to as much as 32GB using a microSD card, and HDMI mirroring.
